Habitat for Humanity International is a global brand that was founded in 1976.  Habitat now works in 1,400 communities across the U.S. and in nearly 70 countries and has helped 6.8 million people achieve strength, stability and independence through safe, decent  and affordable shelter.

In 1991, Cherokee County established an affiliate. We have built 27 homes and have repaired 25 homes.

We also offer recovery after disasters, revitalize neighborhoods, advocate for affordable housing, and build community partnerships.
